We understand the burdens faced by those who have been injured by the negligence of others and the need to obtain the maximum compensation for those victims and their family members. We also understand the importance of standing up to large insurance companies that so often wrongfully deny claims or attempt to obtain unfair settlements from those who have been injured.

For disputes involving real estate and brokers, the Law Offices of Noah B. Goodman is able to handle any matters which may proceed to litigation if a fair and reasonable settlement cannot be obtained.

Employment Discrimination (or workplace discrimination) is discrimination in hiring, promotion, job assignment, termination, and compensation.

Many jurisdictions prohibit some types of employment discrimination, often by forbidding discrimination based on certain traits ("protected categories"). In other cases, the law may require discrimination against certain groups.

Workplace discrimination is prevalent, even in places where the law forbids it. In places where it is illegal, discrimination often takes subtler forms, such as wage discrimination and requirements with disparate impact on certain groups. In addition, employees sometimes suffer retaliation for opposing workplace discrimination or for reporting violations to the authorities. It also includes various types of harassment.

Sexual Harassment is verbal or physical behavior of a sexual nature, aimed at a particular person or group of people, especially in the workplace or in academic or other institutional settings, that is actionable, as in tort or under equal-opportunity statutes. Once stereotyped as involving pressures brought by one in authority (e.g., an employer, teacher, or ranking officer) on someone in an inferior position, with the aim of obtaining sexual favors, harassment is now recognized as also involving behavior that creates an environment unfriendly to its targets, otherwise known as a hostile work environment. The Law Offices of Noah B. Goodman represents the victims of sexual harassment as well as those who have been wrongly accused of sexual harassment, before the Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination (MCAD) and other Courts of Law.

Civil law, as opposed to criminal law, is the branch of law dealing with disputes between individuals and/or organizations, in which compensation may be awarded to the victim. For instance, if a car crash victim claims damages against the driver for loss or injury sustained in an accident, this will be a civil law case. The Law Offices of Noah B.
